Indie Writing Workshop: Clean Your Mess - Polish Your Novel In-Person
Andrews will be joined by a traditional book editor for this session on getting your book ready for publication. They will discuss content and copy issues, finding beta readers, the approaches used by both independent and traditional publishers, and book cover design.
Have you thought about independently publishing your writing? Do you have a great idea but are bogged down in questions about self-publishing your book? The sites to you should use to publish? Or where to even get started? The Brainerd Public Library is hosting a series of six workshops led by local indie author Carissa Andrews to help you out. These free classes are for teens and adults at all stages of writing their novel or creative nonfiction work. Writers may attend one or all sessions.
